Atlanta, GA May 13, 2010 - Hotel Assets Group, LLC (Hotel AG), announced today that the firm negotiated the sale of the Cortina Inn & Resort in Mendon, Vermont on behalf of LNR Partners, Inc. The property sold to Bhakta Land Holding Company, LLC for an undisclosed amount.
“The hotel was closed due to environmental concerns which posed several challenges for both the buyer and the seller,” Wendy Blissett, vice president of Hotel AG remarked. “Both parties were instrumental in working through the challenges to complete the transaction.”  Originally constructed in 1966, the Cortina Inn & Resort operated as a full-service hotel comprised of 96 guest rooms until its closure in 2008. The hotel is situated on approximately 28 acres near Killington Ski Resort, the largest ski resort area in eastern North America.
